Shipping & Return
Shipping:
All packages are shipped via UPS. There is a $10 domestic shipping fee outside of NY state. Shipping inside of NY is free. NY State taxes apply. No NY Sales tax applied when shipping outside of NY state.
At the request of Alden we are only allowed to ship within North America – USA , Canada, and Mexico. A proper USA address is required when ordering online. Please provide email and phone number and tracking information will be emailed to you. Standard ground shipping is via UPS.
Return Policy:
Shoes can only be returned if there is no evidence of try-on. Creased vamps or marked outsoles are not eligible for re-stocking. Shoes must be returned in plastic bags and with Dust bags (for pairs provided).
Any shell cordovan shoes with creases to the leather will be sent back to the buyer and are not eligible for return. Please walk gently when trying and keep on carpet.
A refund will be given up to 14 days (after received if shipped). Afterwards shoes may be exchanged or issued a store credit UP TO 6 months after purchase. Store Credit does not expire.
Customers are responsible for return shipping fees - no return label provided.
Orders and deposits for special order sizes are non refundable - Narrows (A and B wides) and Extra Wides (EE and EEE wide). Size 14 is also excluded.
No exchange, refund, or credit on sale merchandise .
No exchange or return for shoes purchased outside of this store.
Defective Shoes:
Worn shoes thought to be defective - loose stitching, leather defects, sole/heel problems, etc - need to be sent back to Alden for inspection. Please contact us or bring shoes in to our shop to have them sent back to the Alden factory. Once inspected and deemed defective, shoes will be repaired at no cost or replaced if needed. ONLY SHOES BOUGHT AT OUR LOCATION CAN BE BROUGHT IN FOR INSPECTION. Regular wear and tear does not apply!
Shoes repaired or resoled at local shoe cobblers may not be subject to repair based on prior work done as determined by Alden factory.
